More than 1000 young people from across Cornwall and beyond came together this summer for Kernow Jamboree – a week-long celebration of adventure, friendship and fun.
Held at Stithians Showground from 26 July to 2 August 2025, the event brought together Scouts, Explorers, Guides and Rangers under the theme Discover Adventure. From scaling climbing walls and racing go-karts in the Energise zone, to learning bushcraft skills in Into the Woods, participants had the chance to try something new, challenge themselves and make memories to last a lifetime.
Water lovers took to the lake for stand-up paddleboarding in the Wave zone, while the Impact area offered creative crafts and connections to the global Scouting and Guiding community. One of the most talked-about highlights was Kernopoly – a real-life Monopoly game that saw participants navigating Cornwall using local buses and trains.
The event also welcomed Cubs and Brownies for a special day visit, giving younger members a taste of the excitement and a chance to join in the adventure.
Kernow Jamboree was a celebration of everything Scouting and Guiding stand for – teamwork, resilience, and giving things a go. It was made possible thanks to the dedication of volunteers from across the county, who worked tirelessly to create a safe, inclusive and unforgettable experience.
