Cornwall Scouts are excited to welcome a new role into the County Team. The role of Transformation Lead has been created in each County in the UK and we are pleased to welcome John Rickard into the role and onto the County Team.

Nationally, Scouts are starting to enter a period of change, introducing replacement our adult membership system and better processes for training and appointments. All these changes have the aim to make the volunteer experience much more positive, retain our volunteers for longer and enable our leaders and supporters to easily develop at their own pace. It is a really exciting time for Cornwall Scouts. Transformation Leads are there to support everyone through the change, communicate ways to introduce the changes at all levels and then encourage everyone to keep going making the new processes the norm.

To launch the changes locally, the County Team would like to invite all Leaders and Supporters to Basecamp Kernow. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about each change, speak to our Transformation Lead and other Change Champions and also hear about other exciting opportunities in Cornwall.
